#From Miles To SmilesChat Launches with a Festive Twitter Travel Chat

On Thursday 17th December, I am co-hosting the very first #From Miles To SmilesChat with two very special ladies, Jackie of the Globe Trotting Teacher, and Marta of Learning Escapes. This festive Twitter travel chat will be discussing the subject of travel over the festive period and we would love for you to join us to bring in Christmas with a bang!

Jackie is a girl after my heart, with an emphasis in her blog on how to use rewards to travel for less, whilst Marta focusses on slow family travel, and is already getting into the swing of things judging by her latest Christmas themed post. Come and join us for some Christmas chat.

Celebrating the Festive Period Around the Globe

I have spent a number of Christmas and New Year’s holidays on the road. Indeed, I try to ensure I never spend a New Year Eve in the UK where everything is over-rated and over-priced. Instead, I have spent alcohol fuelled nights celebrating New Year’s Eve in Sydney, Siem Reap, Key West, Germany, and Russia among others. I have even celebrated Christmas and New Year on a cruise ship! Needless to say, there are no fireworks there!

Many of you will have had similiar experiences and we hope you can find the time to share them with us in this festive Twitter Travel Chat.
