The Lake District

The Lake District is one of the most stunning places to visit in the UK and is ideal as a romantic bolthole. Head here when you want some true peace and serenity, where you can simply take in all the nature of the surroundings and visit one of the many lakes. You can hike up the beautiful mountains, take in the views, bring a picnic and spend some quality time together away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are some gorgeous Lake District hotels you can stay in too, so make sure you book in advance and get the one you want.

London

Another great place to go for a romantic break with your other half is London. This is more suited for those that like the hustle and bustle and to be somewhere a bit busier. London has a plethora of romantic hotels you can stay in, from cool airBnB style accommodation choices to hotels with balconies and luxury 5* hotels. You can do things such as go for a romantic meal out, head to watch a West end show or go for a walk or boat ride in one of the many parks. There are always lots of activities in London for you to enjoy with your other half.

The Cotswolds 

The Cotswolds is a really beautiful part of the world and if you’ve never been before, it needs to be high on your list for a romantic break away. A really quaint part of the country, you can go for long walks through sweet little villages, go out for roast dinners on a Sunday, indulge in afternoon teas and enjoy visiting the many attractions in the area. You can stay in a countryside lodge or bed and breakfast.
