The AVIOS Lounge Pass offer is another way that you can earn AVIOS from travelling in style.
What is the AVIOS Lounge Pass deal?
Lounge Pass is a website where you can book airport lounge access at one of over 400 VIP lounges in over 80 countries worldwide. Advance booking online saves money on the price you would pay on the door, and now is even more rewarding. If you book an AVIOS airport lounge pass, you will now be able to add to your AVIOS balance.
How many AVIOS can you earn?
For every £1 you spend on the site, you will collect 12 AVIOS. That is a very generous deal indeed. For example, if two people book the following lounges, here is what they would earn.
Airport lounge | Cost of entry | AVIOS earned |
The Aspire Lounge, Manchester T2 | £19.99 each | 228 |
Plaza Premium Lounge, Heathrow T2 | £35 each | 420 |
Bidvest Premier Lounge, Cape Town | £24 each | 288 |
Plaza Premium Lounge, Brisbane | £42 each | 504 |
Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, Los Angeles | £35 each | 420 |
Other benefits
Of course, the benefits of booking a lounge go way beyond the AVIOS you earn. In addition, you will be able to chill out in a quiet lounge and enjoy complimentary food and drink. If you really want to push the boat out, you can even opt for little extras such as champagne and spa packages. Now that’s how I like to start my trip in style!
How to take advantage of the Avios Lounge Pass deal
Head to the AVIOS Lounge Pass site and choose your lounge. Be sure, to check out the descriptions as some destinations offer premium lounges. Although these come with a higher price tag, they also offer upgraded facilities allowing you to indulge in a true VIP experience.
When you come to pay, remember to add your 16-digit Avios Travel Rewards Programme membership number and you Avios will be automatically added to your account 14 days after your visit. Pretty smart hey?
Have you taken advantage of this travel hack?
Maybe you have already used this hack, or have other tips for earning AVIOS on lounge access. We would love to hear them.
Even though my preferred mode of travel is air travel these days, yet i didn’t know about AVIOS pass. I am a member of various frequent flyer programs and even make good use of my priority pass. But thsi does seem very interesting. I’ll definitely give it a try next time.
I am a frequent flyer and something as useful as AVIOS pass appeals to me because I end up spending a lot of time in transit. It is wise to book online since I can save some money. I love it when I can manage a spa during transit. It is the best use of some spare time. I have never tried premium lounge but would love to.
I always use airport lounges because the timing between the connecting flights are too long. I never tried for Avios and now it looks interesting after reading your post. I would surely look all the details and learn about the point system which we earn them. Thanks for sharing!
I had no idea about this hack! Have only recently signed up for Avios (actually I was inspired to after reading one of your posts) and will be visiting LHR T2 in the coming weeks so will definitely be taking advantage of it!
Yay that’s awesome news. Be sure to sign up for Heathrow rewards before as any spend in the airport can then earn you AVIOS
I’m a budget traveller so I’ve never actually used airport lounges before. Nevertheless, great tips and analysis which will be useful and helpful for anyone who is looking to get the airport pass 🙂
Sometimes airports get so crowded, just looking for a seat an be a real struggle. Especially on the longer layovers, getting a lounge pass such as the AVIOS Lounge Pass does seem like an attractive option. Plus good to know if you pre-book online, you’ll save which is always a great bonus.
Amazing! How have I never heard of AVOIS before?? I’ve been wanting to start taking advantage of airport lounges more and this is exactly what I was looking for. Definitely signing up – thanks!
We’ve never used airport lounges before, but in the last year or so we’re starting to look at them more and more. With traveling full-time, there are only so many long airport layovers in crowded areas we can stand before the prospect of paying a bit for a far more pleasant experience starts to look great. We’ll definitely take a look at the Avios deals, thanks for the heads up.
I’m a budget traveler and hardly ever make use of airline lounges. However, the post was still quite informative and detailed. It will certainly come in handy for anyone desirous of using airport lounges.
Thanks for the information, although the link to the site seems inoperative.
Sorted now. Thanks for making me aware of this.
